Today the City of Peoria took part in a statewide flag raising to kick off Bicentennial celebrations for the state of Illinois. Mayor Ardis was joined by Councilmembers Jensen and Riggenbach, Dr Tim Cundiff, speaking on behalf of the Peoria Riverfront Museum and Peoria County Liasion for the Bicentennial Committee and Norm Kelly, the Peorian Historian!
