A flamingo who escaped from a wildlife sanctuary in Cornwall has been spotted more than 200 miles away in France. Paradise Park confirmed that the suspected sighting on the coast of Brittany matches that of Frankie who flew away from the Park on the 2nd of November. In a statement, the park said they feel “amazed to see she has travelled so far and also relieved to see her looking so fit.” | ITV News West Country

Baby flamingos, often splash their feet into the water as a playful behavior and a way to practice their swimming skills. This splashing helps them get accustomed to the water and can be a form of exercise that strengthens their legs and prepares them for more complex movements later on.
