A rare look at Allen Collins just days after the 1977 Lynyrd Skynyrd plane crash. This footage was filmed at the University of Mississippi Medical Center in 1977. Collins is in scrubs, wearing a cervical collar and a Hoffmann external fixator on his left forearm — and he’s already holding a sunburst Fender Stratocaster and playing.
