The FBI released a public warning, saying that ATM "jackpotting" incidents have exponentially increased in 2025.
Physically breaking into an ATM is getting more popular and the FBI is sounding the alarm.
Hackers hit more than 700 ATMs last year, resulting in $20 million worth of losses, the FBI says. The malware can instruct an ATM to dispense cash on demand, no bank card needed.
