MMA icons Anderson Silva and Tyron Woodley are entering the boxing ring on the main card of next month's Jake Paul-Anthony Joshua fight, Most Valuable Promotions and Netflix announced Friday.

Brazilian mixed martial arts legend Anderson Silva, 3-2 (2 KOs) in boxing, will fight former UFC champion Tyron Woodley, 0-2, on a December 19 card headlined by Anthony Joshua’s bizarre heavyweight eight-rounder against Jake Paul, it was announced today.

Silva, who turned 50 this year, last competed in a boxing exhibition in June 2024, fighting to a draw with his longtime UFC rival Chael Sonnen. Silva is 3-2 as a professional boxer and also lost to Paul by unanimous decision on Oct. 29, 2022.
