Samsung is reportedly developing a trifold successor and a manual sliding phone, promising thinner, lighter designs that could revamp foldable smartphones by 2027.

So, it becomes only natural that brands are starting to move on to what's next, introducing the next evolution with trifold products. Huawei has been doing it for a couple of years, and Samsung just introduced its first trifold phone to market as well.

With all of the different tasks that can be accomplished on smartphones these days, like streaming and gaming, a large battery capacity is often necessary.
